The M-1941 haversack, replacing the complex and M-1928 haversack. Made of cotton canvas, khaki. It was made to carry the standard load – meat can, utensils, spare socks, and underwear, toiletries, and a basic load of rations. Bag has attachment points to secure and entrenching tool, as well as provisions to carry the shelter half and or poncho. The haversack can be worn alone or combined with knapsack and pack suspenders.
